I found that if you prime the peatpot with hot water (before you add the
promix/ seed starter soil it) it stays much more pliable....if you keep it
moist while the seedlings get started they stay soft,so soft in fact that you
have to be carefull when you pick them up.
Maybe this is why I had roots comming out of the bottom AND the
SIDES.....looks kinda strange to see white points sticking out the sides of a
5 inch PeatPot!.....GlennA
