I must agree with you on this, my fastest germinator, get out of grounder,
first leafer (hey ...a new word), and all around best plant was a 418 from
Glenn Andrews. Unfortunately, I lost the 418 plant to wind damage (long
story...my friend will pay for his lack of care...I promise). Out of about a
dozen plants from the 700 + range, only the 1010 Mackenzie came close to
duplicating the 418's performance. No one can say what the final outcome
(pumpkin size) would have been, but, a smaller fruit definetly has the
capability of  producing a better plant. Now...does a better plant (in it's
early stages) mean a bigger pumpkin...?
