I also had the same problem using the zip bags on my first setting.
I found out that you have to really squeeze the water out of the paper towel
before putting in zip bag. Since I started doing this, all the rest I've tried
have sprouted in 24 to 30 hrs. I also cover the zip bags with a sheet paper
just to
keep them a little in the dark. I am using my computer monitor for heat source.
Hope this works, it did for me.
Its a sick feeling when your prized seed fails on you.
