Hi all,
Got a tuff decision to make. I have a 1010 Mackenzie 98 (946.5 Geerts 96 x
1010 Hoult 95) and a 818 Jervis 98 (682.4 Castelluci 96 x 682 Cole 97) in
the same patch...room only for one. Both plants are practically identical in
size, appearance, leaf number and all. Both were started on the same date
(27 days ago), germinated practically at the same time, emerged at the same
time, set out at the same time...you get the picture. I like the parentage
of both seeds...so how do I decide? How long can I wait before the plants
start really competing for soil nutrients?
For those interested, I have three other patches :
727 Greer 1997 (this one's a beauty), 819 Stephenson 98 and 734
Marcellus 98. All these plants are doing great, all have at least a dozen
true leaves and are all showing daily growth. Ain't life fantastic?!?!
Till next time...
