Carlson plant updates

Everyone,
Well here it is. After another busy weekend but this one was for fun with the family. We traveled 4 hours west to Ankney Iowa for the 7th and 8th grade solar car races on Saturday. Much to our surprise oldest son Jake Bettered last years 10 th place finish with a stunning 3rd this year. We were all pumped up and screaming. Half way down the 66 foot race his car was still in the hunt for the win but was nosed out by about 2 to 3 feet.  His time was a snappy 6.78 seconds!!! Now on to the pumpkins
 Patch #1  Home patch
   Hill #1    2 carlson 431 both look excellent. Both about 5 leaves. should be vining by 1st of june
   Hill #2  These 2 plants are alittle later being put in. One is 791 Glasier. It looks OK But only about 2 leaves to early to tell. The other is a other 431 Carlson and it to is a later germination . These should be able to catch up.

   Hill #1   2 plants are 879 Rockwell and 582 carlson back up. These both are identical. 3 leaves with a small 4th showing. They both seem to have slowed way up. Mostly do to the weather is my guess. Both look healthy
   Hill#2  2 plants are 1 582 carlson and 1 431 carlson. It was suppose to be the 743 Casstellucci but it got beat up and did not make it. the 582 looks like the other hill 3 to 4 leaves and the 431 looks like it should about 2 leaves!!

Hill #1 my best plant to date tied with one other . The 935 Lloyd about 5 to 6 leaves. Looks healthy. The other back up plant is 582 carlson  and it's about 1 leaf behind.
Hill#2  1  634 Andersen and its as big as the Lloyd. Close to 6 leaves nice thick stem. Looking forward to seeing what this one does. the othe r2 back up plants for this hill is 2 582 Carlsons. They are about 1 leaf behind but looking good.
Hill #3
  The 815 Andersen looks pretty decent. About 4 to 5 leaves and nice and stout. The back up 582 looks alittle behind the 815. But still healthy!!!
