No Subject

hi, iwas wondering if i could get some opinions from some of the knowledgeable people on the list as to how they slow down growth in the later season or if they do. also when do you start to slow the pumpkin down. i,ve heard about maybe cutting off every other secondary. anybody ever try this? comments would be appreciated as it seems to be a subject that isn,t discussed on the list .   thanx in advance                   craig
