john, maybe i worded the question wrong as the pumpkin will naturally slow
down later in the season. what i want to know is what do other people do to
control rapid growth late in the season. this is to try to controlsuch
things as blossom end blowout due to a sudden rain. obviusly you want max
growth, but once the weather starts to cool down and your pumpkin is getting
pretty big you have to adjust things . all i,m looking for is how do people
in north west type climates adjust they,re methods. maybe i can learn
something from them.         craig
