RE: Growth rates?

No I don't have a picture. The ones I make are small, about 6' X 12'. I
put 2' lenghts of 3/8" rebar into the ground at an angle 6' apart then
slide a 10' section of 1/2" PVC pipe over the rebar and bend it and place
it over the opposite rebar and form a hoop. I use four of these each about
3' apart. These ribs then have 3mil clear polyethylene sheeting placed
over them. I staple the sheets onto boards. I didn't use reinforcing
strips over the plastic and under the staples so I'm going to have to re-do
it. I knew better, but forgot some of my materials when I went to build
them.

I used the same setup for one of my sites this year and it is working well.
Has stood up to the strongest winds to date. I didn't use boards to hold
the plastic down though. Instead I used plastic pipe hangers that should
be sold somewhere near the pvc pipe. It's a small piece of plastic in the
shape of a "C" with a nail in it for holding the pipe to the floor joists.
I removed the nail, laid the plastic over pvc pipe and clipped the hanger
over the top of the plastic. You may have to reinforce the plastic with
duct tape where the hanger goes over the pipe. I used 6 mil plastic and
still have small rips in the plastic.
