In New Hampshire..my season has started out very dry. Its been tough!
The 1006 x1061 is just starting to come up...three days behind John
Failor's 440 and an unknown Langevin. No true leaf yet.
The 1061 seems to be rotting (WAAH!) along with a seed from my 193 from
last year. I wrote a note to Ray to see if he has any of the 1061 left.
Otherwise I have a few seeds I didn't plant as back ups. I planted 16 seeds
from 133 - 1061.
My inlaws just left after visiting us from St. Clairesville, OH and they
observed our gardens to be about a week behind them.
Hope that helps!
Regards,
Kristina Ickes

I would like to know who else has planted seeds from P & P Seed Co. I
have in the ground and growing quite well are the 1061 Zehr, the 1998 WPC
Champ, and the 1006 x 1061. My 1998 WPC and 1006 x 1061 has a beefy
stem and about 6 leaves, largest measuring 10"-11" in diameter. Been
getting some cool weather here in northern Ohio which has slowed their
growth. Last night the wind chills were at 30 degrees, but the sun warms
things during the day.
I have been wearing my orange WPC tee-shirt; I think that is helping my
plants grow.
