Yellow Spots


In the last few years I've noticed that yellow spots on leaves are
appearing more frequently. Someone had mentioned that this is
the("nature of the beast" (genetics) and nothing to worry about. I
believe they are right. I don't even pay attention to them anymore as
nothing out of the ordinary has ever developed from these spots. 
	Now, if the leaves are yellowing then it could mean you need to apply a
nitrogen boost in the form of manure tea, fish emulsion, etc.. This
often happens during a cold and wet spell when using a lot of compost or
manure. Nitrogen does not seem to release well when organic matter is
high and weather is on the cool damp side......Ken
