That fruit was picked the first of August measuring 562.5 pounds, but one
of the ribs broke when I was moving it onto the lifting tarp.  It was
light for its size, and I lost some of the pumpkin pieces before I got it
on a scale, so I am going by the eastimated weight.  The walls were very
thin, I doubt it even weighed 500 pounds actually.  This one was grown
from the 278 Welty '99 and self pollinated.
