Re: shading

Pual  Most growers just cover the fruit i build alittle tent over with a 8x6 tarp this protects the fruit from aging. ag's need all the sunlight they can get. If it gets really hot i just turn the over head sprinklers on for 1/2 hour. this seems to help. mark

Subject: shading

I've been reading a great deal about shading lately & am a little confused. Do you shade the whole plant , or only partially? Is a light penetrable cloth used, or what is used? And does this prevent mid-day wilting, With the misting system I use " a overhead grid system set up in a barnroof fashion" I can cover all or part of the plant very easily. I lost this years fruit to heat, And I've vowed to NEVER let it happen again no matter what.
  Any imput would be appreciated.....Thanks.........Paul
