AGGC & Southern Growers Meeting
>If anyone out there (Ms. Rado) thinks I am doing this for money,
Never said that, never inferred that, Mike. Your database is a wonderful
achievement. I know you work hard on it and you deserve recognition and
thanks for the concept, and for your time and effort. Too often hard work
is not recognized and we end up feeling unappreciated.
About the growers conference, some of us would need more information before
we could know whether we would come... and yes, cost is one of those items.
Many would have travel and lodging costs in addition to whatever the cost of
the seminar would be. Also, are you planning it on a weekend? Time and
work schedules are issues as well. Do you have an idea of the scale of the
thing? Nothing personal, while I would very much like to meet all the
southern growers, I would not travel or take time away from the family and
off work to come and have a cup of coffee with you guys, but if you were
having academics or growers from around the country speaking, it might be
worth the time and expense. Again, I know this type of event is a
tremendous lot of work... just trying to get an idea of what it might be
like.
Best wishes,
Beth
