Re: Annual Free Seeds from the Bhaskaran Patch of 2005, plus some from years ...

Many thanks Dave for the explanation,
I'll send that envelope out tomorrow. Please do include the seeds you mentioned. Our farm will be raising many things this coming year and hopefully the big pumpkins will be happy with what we have been doing with the soil here. Have grown some big pumpkins in the past, but not big enough to do much more than sell them at a local high-end farmer's market. My goal is to present at least one big pumpkin at our state fair here in New Mexico.
Not much of a goal, but my farm is known for doing what others don't and this is just one more thing to do I love doing-the challenge of growing an awesome big pumpkin.
Many thanks,
Pat Maas

Pat,
Good Question!
SASBE = Self-Address Stamped Bubble Envelope...it will protect the seeds, have your name on it, and has the right postage to return it to you. :-)
Also, the 871 Bhaskaran 05 -> Had 0 seeds...but its mom is the 798.5 Bhaskaran 04, so not all is lost if you like the looks of it...in fact growing the mom is usually a better chance of getting similar results.

Dear David,
Those sound great and look even better! One dumb question and will be happy to send for some of your seeds for growing this coming year. Please define "SASBE". I know it stands for some sort of self adressed envelope, hopely just big.
Mnay thanks,

Howdy!
Have included some past world champions with a little red/orange mix to
them
for this year.
The below choices are available. They are FREE (do not send
$$$!)....just
a SASBE and they are yours.(Plus still have some left over from the last couple
of
years if interested)
(Send to David Bhaskaran, 5448 Highland Ridge Ln SE, Rochester, MN 55904)
Don't forget to tell me what you wish. (Red-Orange only, or pick the
ones,
etc)
Thanks,
Dave.
P.S. Don't let the small size bother you... Look at the genetics....that
is
the key.
Note: 1048 Companion - Red/Orange pumpkin has 801.5 Stelts and 810 Dill as

M, F.
Note: 981 Zunino - Red/Orange pumpkin is a 1230 Daletas x 1048
