Hey cliff,

Just checked out your blog.  Are there any seeds available from that 857?
That is a beautiful orange pumpkin.  I'd like to cross that with mine to see
if I can pretty it up a little more.  Mine had a great shape, but it wasn't
as orange as I'd like.

There are not male and female seeds. There are male and female FLOWERS, and
that's probably where you're getting confused!

Each plant, which grows from one seed, will produce male and female flowers.
You can pollinate female flowers from male pollen from flowers on the same
plant, or, you can borrow male flowers from another plant that is growing
nearby.
