RE: pumpkins DIGEST V1 #135

Don't worry about it Jim. Everyone around here is actually discussing and
purchasing deer urine for hunting season!
Try Neptune's Harvest. They sell a nice kelp product.
Soil test. Soil test. Soil test.

I'm interested in using ocean kelp as compost. I've heard that it is
especially helpful to Pumpkins and I'd like a little more info on this, if
anyone knows about it.

1) How much kelp to use? The more the better?
2) When to use it?
3) Any particular varieties?

I can't believe that it's come to this for me. I'm discussing kelp.
