My only concern would be if the seeds in that chopped up pumpkin might be
viable. If they were & would come up next year, they would not only compete
for nutrients, but there might be some confusion as to identity & you could
pull up the wrong one by accident. I'm a beginner at this, & there may be
something else as well, but this is all that occurs to me.
