Re: Picking the right plant.


I agree with Marv. Some of my most vigorous plants did not produce my
largest pumpkins. One of my plants which was slow and not so vigorous
produced two pumpkins 450+ pounds. In general, my largest pumpkins were
from plants that had the earliest pollination dates, no matter how
vigorous the plant was.
