RE: Genetics: Are we stuck?



Interesting. I've often wondered about crossing other C. maximas with
the Atlantic Giant. There are quite a few strains of it out there.
Michael Cohill, you sent me a list of some that you raise for the Seed
Savers. You mentioned several that could top 300 or 400 pounds. I
believe one was pink and green striped, one dark green and orange, and
one a giant Cinderella variety. Have any of these ever been crossed with
an Atlantic Giant or Show King squash?
