Where can a beginner get some Atlantic Giant and Prizewinner Hybrid Seeds?
I have purchased BURPEE Prizewinner Hybrids at the local hardware store in the
Spring. Is that as good a choice as any? With my small, rocky clay yard, I
realize I have a handicap? But, I want to see what I can do!
We have just moved here from an area with sandy soil. With proper care, one
could grow almost anything there. In fact, before it was covered with houses,
it was the site of a successful truck garden farm.
One advantage to the earth here is that it doesn't dry out as fast as the
sandy stuff did. But, it's difficult to work with.
