Fall prep
I dug a 4 by 4 by 4 foot hole the bottom of which goes one and a half feet
into the clay . I filled the bottom of the hole up to the clay with peat I
am hoping that the clay basin will hold water when other water migrates
away. I added layers of leaves manure compost to fill the hole. I intend to
plastic this area in and store a 45 gallon drum of water in this green
house to collect the heat during the days in spring. the garden is tilled
as well and just in time. did this Monday started snowing on Tues. on wed
night we have 6 inches of snow. Chris Vossen
