1131 bummer immature seeds
Larry and Gerry when you posted that the womper had so few seeds I put out
a post that there was a possibility that the same could be true of the
1131 sorry I ginxed you .Are the seeds severely immature. you guys know a
lot more about pumpkin seeds than me. I worked around seed plants for afew
years mostly wheat and soy beans and have seen strange things with seeds.
sometimes small seeds can have good germination . there has been a lot of
talk of immature seeds maybe they will germinate but do they have the full
genetic data base inside them. possibly not .but I have seen seeds very
small for the variety of soybeans and wheat grow high yielding crops has
any one done germination tests on border line immature or white seeds I
wonder what the results would be.Dont send me any of the mature seed it
should be kept for you guys and more proven growers than me. Take care
every one have to go wash bottles . bottle my pumpkin wine tomorrow. Chris
