Re: Green mottle Bad ? Oregon Update

Brett,

Hope you get better soon!!!!! scary! I like what you said. Trying to
keep this discussion non- emotional......and bias aside......so we can
brainstorm some good solutions to that subjective ruling.

HEREs THE MAIN PROBLEM. WE TEND TO ASSOCIATE SQUASH WITH THAT HORRIBLE
STUFF OUR MOTHERS OVER COOKED AND FORCED US TO EAT. DINNER WOULD DRAG ON
UNTIL OUT CAME THE TIMER....I had my ways of getting rid of that squish
only too be haunted in nightmares of my pumpkin getting greenish mottle
and a huge clock tower ticking away..... orange is a cheery experience
halloween and candy. These associations are going to take years to put
them in perspective. As agroup of growers we should be able to find some
solution we can vote in. The other ruling is not sound enough....do you
count the bottoms in the percentage........i think your right this
looseness frustrates folks and feeling get bent who needs it..........there
got to be an answer......brock
