I WASN'T SUGGESTING USING BLEACH TO KILL THE VIRUS...I merely stated
that bleach will kill a virus....a question asked early....i use a
bleach and water ratio to kill the fungus on my plants....black
spot...rust spot...and a numder of others.
Hospitals use it to kill blood born virus the spew out on the
floors..from patients ....who are bleeders....etc......on the chronic
floors...i never said they poured the bleach into the person to kill a
virus....or into a pumpkin....either....I thought this was pretty self
explanatory....Bleach will kill a virus......As i stated early
....everything I have read on the mosiac virus...says burn the infected
plant....to prevent the spread of the disease....
Deborah:
Mosaic viruses are in the plant genetic material, not on the plant or seed.
You can't disinfect it! Clorox has no effect on plant viruses. Suggest you
start by reading about plant viruses. Understanding the disease and it's
dynamics are key here.
