This is a very interesting subject ( to me anyway !) that has crossed my
mind also.I have seen this "tendency" in at least one individual's patch and
i intend to persue the idea of environmental influences in skin coloring this
winter. (you know who you are!)It may be nothing...it may just be a fluke,but
I think there's something to it Tim.
In your case Tim...its a sibbed seed....not too unlike a selfed seed....and
most people would agree that this increases the chance for green.As for the
598*Bailey that came from the 627Bobier---anything with 1006 or 697 has a
fair chance of a squash surprize. But does the environment of your patch
bring out this tendency? I think it might....but have no theory or proof.
