My husband and I are new at growing pumpkins. We have about 4 acres
that we planted all kinds of pumpkins, gourds, Indian Corn, and much
more. Here is our problem, we live about 60 miles south of Chicago and
the weather has turned very cold. Our pumpkins are still in the field.
We have a big day planned for Saturday with our children and
grandchildren to go to the pumpkin patch. Are we in danger of losing
them because of this cold spell and if so what can we do to prevent
damage to the patch. I would really appreciate some tips. Thank you.
