If this was posted to elicit opinions mine is that Mr Tanner offended too
many to be
readmitted by virtue of this one apology. On the other hand a lifetime
expulsion is too harsh.
Perhaps take a lead from government and give him a "60 day cooling off
period" before
considering readmission.
