Re: Pumpkins on TV
This is the time of year that pumpkins get their 15
minutes of fame. The tale of the pumpkin goddesses
and a pumpkin grower also-ran (me) will be broadcast
on Monday, Oct. 30 7 p.m. on KPIX, Channel 5 out of
San Francisco. The story will be a segment of the
Evening Magazine Program.
The story will include footage from my pumpkin party
that I held to move the pumpkins and the weigh-off at
Half Moon Bay. Tune in and watch the Pacific
Northwest growers kick the Goddesses butts!
You can thank Jon Hunt for this. He's the one who
sic'ed the media hounds on me.
KPIX, Channel 5 is available through-out much of the
west coast but I don't believe it is available
nationally.
