chance for nature (PUMPKIN NOME'S) to damage your prized beauty. No way would
I start before mid June, my pumpkins are always ready by late Sept or early
Oct remember 120 to 150 days is what to look for....
Now for the heat, Got my brother into growing AG's and he lives in the
California desert belt. he has tried and tried but no luck due to aborts plus
you want to keep the leaves from flagging (wilt, heat stress) PLEASE PLEASE
PLEASE do your self a favor and purchase HOW TO GROW WORLD CLASS GIANT
PUMPKINS 1 and 2
In #2 they have Chris Andersen's system for misting and ICING the female
ovary to allow the fruit to set. try using green house screening the "green
stuff sold at your local nursery) on 2x4 stands to brake the direct sunlight.
Most of all good luck and keep up with all the wonderful people on this
chat line and I am sure they can help you through the hard days.
