Duncan, if a man grows two punkins and enters them in two weigh-offs,
does his name go in twice? I ask because Ray Barenchi of Santa Rosa,
California, USA, won at Elk Grove, CA, w/ a 977 pounder grown in Santa
Rosa. He had a week or two earlier won the Sonoma County Harvest Fair
weigh-off w/ a 954 (952?) pounder he grew on his ranch in Cloverdale,
some 20 miles north of Santa Rosa. In the year 2000, in other words, he
grew nearly 2000 lbs on punkin flesh in just two fruit. Best, Kathie
