Good of you to mention that.
John's honesty reminds me of another principled grower, Chris Andersen, who
pulled his 815 at Half Moon Bay in 97 due to a pinhole through to the seed
cavity....his would have been the largest fruit at that site, and would have
been a tremendous win for him considering his 977 won the state record a week
beforehand.
Kudos to all growers who stick by the rules and go above and beyond to be
fair.
