Re: seed offer
Dear John,
I would love a few of your seeds, but I also don't have anything to trade.
I'm too embarassed to say what my big ones weighed this year. They are tiny
compared to everything in this group. However, I did finally win our county
fair's biggest pumpkin contest and won $10.00 for it! Perhaps the prize money
wasn't worth it, but my family and I had a ton of fun growing "Fatso", "Baby"
and "Walter". We'd like to grow a much bigger one next year, so I figure trying
to track down some good seeds is one place to start. I've also been trying to
take notes from all you "professional" growers out there so I can do better next
year. Good luck to you all at the weigh offs. Diane
