Re: seed offer
Hello to all ! I have been reading your list for a few
months,I began growing a pumpkin this year because my
4 year old found an old seed on our compost pile and
planted it in our garden. Well the vine grew and grew
was over 25 feet flowers abound we were SOO excited we
watered, fertilized, weeded everyday..then one day
once our 1st baby was a lil more than a fist size that
the leaves started turning...hmmmm over fert I thought
then..it became worse and I looked here and discovered
SQUASH BORERSSSSSSS......we both wept and killed
everyone we could get from the vine.:(( alas our
season was over. We want to next year ,we have been
bitten by the pumpkin bug and cannot wait until next
year...so any seeds anyone wants to let us have we
will gladly give back next year !! we know now
insecticide :) please let us know if any of you have
any to share ...Angie & Megan
