Official GPC Results - Elk Grove, California

Hello all!!

It was a beautiful sunny day in Elk Grove California on October 6th!  Seeing 
that sunshine on all of those beautiful Pumpkins, Squash, Watermelons, 
Tomatoes, Cantaloupes, Zucchini, Sunflowers, and Cornstalks was just amazing. 
 Not to mention the incredibly creative scarecrows, pony rides, craft fair, 
hay rides, and pig races.  Wow does it make you want to check it out?  Visit 
our website at www.egcsd.ca.gov later this week for some fantastic event 
pictures.

Perhaps the sun was shining brightest of all this day on MIKE BROCK.  Who 
walked away as California's GPC champion with his beautiful 943 pound 
pumpkin!  It was truely an honor to present Mike with the first place prize 
money and the GPC plaque!
