pumpkins

Hi I am Darren and IM new at this very new I am 6 yrs old I live in Colorado and I grew some pumpkins this year all by myself. I got a problem they wont turn orange and Halloween is coming. How can I make them?? and why wont they? I asked my Mom and she has no clue she doesn't know much about pumpkin growing can you help??
