I agree with all what you said except -
"If its all green, its squash, all others, pumpkins."
i would say,
if it's all orange, its a pumpkin, all others squash.
and i would even go along with,
if it's all orange, its a pumpkin, if its all green,
its squash, all others, a ________ ( you fill in the
blank... squmpkin...whatever.
just my opinion.
