List,
It might be a little early to start talking patch preparation
but here goes. I rotate two patches, the patch I'm using next yr. had some
fusarium (wilt) in it the last time I used it. This yr. it affected tomatoes,
browning leaves , etc. The last time I used it (in 2000) a plant went down with
the wilt. It affects about 1/3 of patch. Should I cover with new soil. compost a
foot deep? or does any of the pros know what I can do?
Haven't heard much about this one and trouble finding ways to
deal with it on the net. Help!
I had three pumpkins around 300# this yr. I need to trim a
small wooded area for more sun, don't get any till 9:30 or 10:00a and then till
sundown is good. More hills in WV also. Not complaining but any suggestions for
this?
I was proud of the ones I grew. You've all helped me so much
so far. Thank you all for your help.
