soil test

Hello everyone...I rarely post but all the information from you guys &
gals has been extremely helpful and allowed me to achieve a personal
best of 544 lbs. and a 3rd place finish at Smoky Lake Weigh Off.
Special thanks to Andy Wolfe for the seeds (from his 315) although mine
weight a little light also, it looked huge--310 OTT.

Now here is the question: I sent a soil sample to the lab and the
results tell me that although I have optimum amounts of N P K, my EC
(electric conductivity) is 5.95 which the lab says is toxic. How
tolerant are these AG's of high salinity? Is it worthwhile to try to
leach the salt from the soil? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
 Thank you.
