Re: Long Gourds & Seeds

Irradiating the seed won't hurt them. I was planning on trying to mutate them before I planted them this year and was told by dept. of agriculture that they mutate the plants, not the seeds because the seed coat is too hard to penitrate.

  Subject: Long Gourds & Seeds

A few years ago i grew some of these about 8 feet in length. I wanted some for this year but the seed i got from p&p failed. I contacted them about this but got no response, before i try there seeds again, i wondered if anyone on the list could spare me a few seeds, ideally i'd like them from 80"+ in length. I hope this isn't too much of a tall order. You are welcome to seeds from my pumpkins in return.
