Some of the growers out west are needing to apply for a special "WIDE LOAD" designation, with extra vehicles front and rear, with signs stating such and warning other motorists to approach with caution. Or at least that's the rumor... Cliff

As a special service of the PGPGA we have made arrangements for a low rental
rate for any of our growers needing a flat bed truck to bring their pumpkins
to the weighoff. Several of the growers requested this and I thought the
quickest way to get the message out was here. Those who feel they also need
the use of a crane to load it up as well as one of the PGPGA Lifting devices
should contact me. Also the Pennsylvania Highway Patrol has been notified not
to be concerned about large round orangish objects moving east to west on the
Pennsylvnia Turnpike. Growers will not be stopped. Sorry for putting private
Email on the thread.
