I would like to take some seeds from a giant pumpkin and start my breed stock. How and what do I do with the seed ie; dry it and keep it in an air tight container?The important thing is to make sure it is really dry. This should take several weeks,
depending on your local humidity. By the same token, I wouldn't seal them up in
an air tight container... seeds are always sold in envelopes. Of course, some people
freeze them.
