party season
This looked good and appropriate for a kids' harvest/halloween party:
Pumpkin Seed-Apple Cookies
2/3 cups brown sugar
1/4 cup margarine, melted
1 egg
2 Tablespoons milk
1 tsp. rum extract
1-1/4 cup flour
1/4 cup oatmeal
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. mace
1/2 tsp. cardamom
3/4 cup grated fresh apple
1/2 cup pumpkin seeds, chopped in blender
1/2 cup golden raisins
1/2 cup butterscotch chips
Cream margarine and brown sugar. Add egg, milk and rum extract. Mix dry
ingredients and stir into creamed mixture. Add last four ingredients and
mix well.
Drop by teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 12-15
minutes.
