This is Dave Squires in Washington state. I grew an 1101 Northrup this year, but the deer got to it.
I crossed pollinated male 1101 Northrup with female 1042 Companion and have loads of seeds
for that cross if you are interested. Gophers got to the roots so I only got 66lb and 56lb fruit from
the 1042 C vine with the above cross. This should be a good cross as both seem to have nice
color and shape. Seed count was 356 from the 56lb one. All look good and plump. Some are
still drying. I have yet to harvest the seeds from the 66lb one and expect the seed count to be similar
to the first. Let me know if interested.
