I need advice on pumpkins.

Hi there,

I live in Zambia, Central Africa, and have entered a completion to grow an
Atlantic Dill Pumpkin. This is being done to support a swimming club and has
taken off big time.

I planted 3 seeds all of which are doing well, I am a gardener but could
really do with a advice on how to proceed. All the pumpkin seeds are throwing
vines, do I keep all the vines on the plant or take some off to encourage the
stronger ones? What do you consider a tap root?

I would really appreciate some help and photos if possible, never grown a
pumpkin in my life and would love some good advice.
