Sinkers are better "filled out" inside; would have more endosperm, and so
more energy for a vigorous seedling. This wouldn't have anything to do with
the genetic material carried,which is what determines growth habit , size
potential, color, etc. I have questioned this "empty seed syndrome" to some
great growers, who told me they are experiencing more of this. Any time
you keep selecting for one trait only, you stand the chance that other
traits may fall by the wayside!! Dog breeders have really screwed up some
breeds..............
