Hello, Tim & Everyone!
I don't know how big a pumpkin must be to do what we have done for two
years now. Experiment ... and let us know.
Ours were 600-pounds-plus up to 900 pounds.
Cut a hole in each end (or in each side, port and starboard).
Scoop out the seeds and much of the stringy stuff. You now have a
Tunnel of Pumpkin.
Invite everyone to crawl through ... and have your cameras charged and
ready to fire. This has drawn participants for hours, and while
children love it, adults love it too. Great for Halloween parties,
festivals, weigh-offs, wherever people assemble to have fun.
It does not ruin your clothes. You may get flecks of pumpkin on you,
but they brush off. You will get somewhat wet but the juice dries as
clear and non-sticky as water.
Have fun!
Kathie
Everyone is asking me what
I am going to do with it, and I said...pumpkin pies maybe?

Hello, I am a brand new member. I just grew my first pumpkin from
home depot
seeds, weighing in at 73 lbs. I was so proud I entered it in the
county fair
and they gave me a first prize, I guess our fair doesn't have very
high
expectations. I am hooked on growing a bigger one now and I would
like to buy
seeds to grow one of those really big ones. May I have the info.
Also what do
you all do with the pumpkins after you grow them. Everyone is
