RE: need seeds

Well, it's easy to get hooked. ;-)

What we do:
Pumpkin pies, bread, muffins, cakes, puddings, stew, and they are good
cooked cubed baked with butter and brown sugar. Yummy.
Also we don't let anything go to waste. The guts...minus the seeds we keep,
either to be grown next year or ate now, we feed the guts to the chickens
that are in heaven they love them.
The horses, mules and donkey's all but one love to eat the rind or extra
pumpkins we have. They make great treats.

The zoo, call ahead, may welcome them for their animals. Bears love to play
with them in the water also. Fun to watch also.

We have donated some pumpkins to local shelters and church's.
We haven't yet sold any. We just pass them along.......
But take pictures to remember them by.

Hello, I am a brand new member. I just grew my first pumpkin from home
depot
seeds, weighing in at 73 lbs. I was so proud I entered it in the county
fair
and they gave me a first prize, I guess our fair doesn't have very high
expectations. I am hooked on growing a bigger one now and I would like to
buy
seeds to grow one of those really big ones. May I have the info. Also what
do
you all do with the pumpkins after you grow them. Everyone is asking me
what
I am going to do with it, and I said...pumpkin pies maybe?
