Hello Everyone,
I recently found two products in a catalog which claim to be able to
measure material thickness from 0.040 inches to 19.999 inches, using sound
(ultrasonically), depending upon the material being measured. I have few
additional details other than the steep price of $1368 for one and $2147 for
the other. Not cheap! They are available from Davis Instruments at
1-800-446-0088.
On another sad note, the stem of my second (i.e. back-up) pumpkin has
begun to soften and rot. I am left with the one A.G. and a bunch of Burpee
Prizewinners. They sure look nice sitting out in the garden. I hope nobody
hurts them.
