send a soil sample to your local university for a soil test.
wait for a couple weeks and some good seeds will be available
right here. and as for your location i don't know. also check
out some of the pumpkin web pages links below.

Hello every one,
I am from near Guelph Ontario Canada.
i have been try to grow THE BIG ONE. do you need the seeds out of a big
pumpkin to try and grow one, becuase i have bought seed from a store
call White Rose and the package say that they are Atlantic Giant seeds.
then I try a diffrent make of seed called Showking. Both seed type gave
me a pumpkin around 200 pounds mark was my biggest one. or is this
normal for this area of ontario ??
You people would call mine a pie pumkin compared to yours.
So if some one could tell me were or who I can get some seed that would
give me a better chance at growing my dream pumkin of 500 pounds. I
would love your HELP. or what I am doing wrong.
I have never tested the PH level of my soil is there a tester out there
and if so can you tell me were to get one. Do i have to take a sample
of soil to some one ???
any help is great help to me thanks....
