What is the process to submit a revision to the WPC or GPC rules?
My goal is to get the World Record and I am concerned that some day I
might have a hole which disqualifies my pumpkin for claiming the world
record.
Does the Guinness Book of Records have any rules about this?
Are their rules base from the WPC and GPC rules for weighing a pumpkin?
Would a hole disqualify my pumpkin for a world record?
I would be willing to open my pumpkin to prove I am not cheating. I
know you think I am full of BS, but I think it should be discussed now
before it happens to someone. I like to see both pumpkin groups
(GPC/WPC) come up with some type of ruling please. I would hate to be a
one man show on this issue. Maybe the AGPVS will start the process for
98 and the WPC and GPC will follow. Remember, I feel pumpkin growing in
for fun and it is a friendly competition to beat your local growers. I
enjoy seeing my daughters eyes when she sees a large pumpkin. To me this
is worth allot more than prize money. I would still take the prize
money though but I sure would like the World Record.
Does anyone have any comments on this thread? Don't we all believe we
can grow that large pumpkin someday?
